Dear Reader,

When a client reaches out to me for the first time expressing their wishes for photos, I really do get butterflies. The first thoughts through my mind are usually picturing where and when to capture their moment, how the light looks streaming through the trees, how the people in the photo are situated. As it all comes together in my mind, I spend the days leading up to the session planning as much as I possibly can.

This was the exact process when Amanda asked me to photograph her two beautiful daughters, Jaelynn and Paige. These girls were ready to take their school pictures!

I used to laugh to myself when I would hear so many photographers say, " I have the best clients!". But now, I've joined that club and would like to scream it from the blog-tops. I really do get to meet such amazing people through photography!

When I spoke to Amanda about a photo location, we decided to go with a park setting where the girls could run around and be themselves. It was the perfect choice for this session. Here's a few photos from their collection!

And these girls are dancers, too! They were cartwheeling all over the place! :)

Not only did we get some spectacular photos of the girls, but we even got some of Mama too! How fun!

And off to school they went! I want to thank Amanda for reaching out to have me take photos of her sweet daughters. And to Jaelynn + Paige, thanks for letting me run around the park with you! Wishing you both a fun-filled school year!
