Luc + Alysia | A Spring Wedding at Ivie Church
"I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side Forever and ever Every little thing that you do Baby, I'm amazed by you"
-Lonestar
Dear Reader,
Let me tell you the story of the day two relentless soulmates got married.
It was a rainy spring day in New Hampshire. In fact, it didn't look as though the rain would let up at all. The entire limousine ride to the church, a deluge of rain continued to pour down. And just before the ceremony, it stopped. Sun peered down through the storm clouds and through the stained-glass windows of the church.
Although it wasn't the original day they had planned for, Alysia + Luc had an intimate gathering of immediate family and friends present at Ivie Church in Bethlehem, NH with all other guests on Zoom. They started the ceremony with a video tribute of photographs for Zoom guests to watch. Memories from their relationship adorned the screen accompanied by classical covers of timeless songs. And then, Alysia walked down the aisle escorted by her father, both beaming with pride. Their walk through the church felt as though they were at Westminster Abbey. The tall ceiling, ornate hanging lights, and abundant stained glass windows were the more regal setting for this wedding. Once meeting Luc at the altar, the two never took their eyes off of one another. Luc's sister Renee officiated the ceremony with strength and grace. This wedding truly defined what it meant to celebrate from near and far.
The reception took place at Luc + Alysia's home. It was an honor to be present while toasts were shared from their wedding party. There is no denying that these newlyweds are well-loved. The rest of the evening, a decadent Thai-style meal from Libby's Bistro & SAaLT was devoured, accompanied by good conversation, reminiscing, spirits, and fellowship.
I have so much respect for Luc + Alysia. They made their marriage a priority. Whether it was the myriad of obstacles that they faced along the way (I couldn't even begin to list them on this post) including a pandemic, come hell or high water, they were celebrating their love by becoming husband and wife. They've had enough taken away from them. I just couldn't wait to photograph the best day of their lives.
I would love to thank the newlywed Corriveaus for allowing me to share in your day. It was an absolute pleasure to see two wonderful people celebrate their love in the most perfect way. Please enjoy this selection of photos from their wedding album.
Much love,
Lady Frye
